Pay As You Go Mobile Broadband
If you want internet wherever you are and don't want to tie yourself into a lengthy contract of between 12 and 24 months, 3 have launched a Pay As You Go (PAYG) Mobile Broadband service.
You buy a USB modem from 3 from £49.99 and then simply buy top ups like you would for a pre-pay, pay as you go mobile phone.
Find out more by going to the 3 website.

its rubbish, really slow, too slow to even use BBC iplayer!
Apparently the vodaphone offering is best, havn't tried it yet, i'm looking for a new one though cause this is unusable
I've been generally happy with 3's PAYG mobile broadband since March 2008. I've had a couple of issues with it, for which customer services were about as much use as a chocolate teapot, but overall it's been good.
Naturally signal strength - and thus speed - varies according to where you are in relation to a transmitter, but I've been in some memorable places miles from anywhere and had cracking speeds, just as I've been in places with no signal whatsoever.
