Sony Strikes PSP Deal with Fon
Sony has signed a deal with community hotspot provider Fon, which will see Japanese PSP owners get access to an official content site through any of the 44,000 Fon hotspots. The access doesn't allow open net access but instead offers user the chance to get downloads and updates from an official provider. Fon is a global operation, offering wireless equipement to end users for free in exchange for open access, so could PSP owners worldwide lookforward to similar arrangements? Let's wait and see...
